Company Profile
GLAB Co., Ltd. Purpose of Establishment
The medical environment in Japan cannot be said to be one of the best in developed countries. Healthcare workers endure long hours and constant strain despite low wages to meet the needs of society. But even that dedication has its limits. The result is symbolically seen in the exhaustion of the medical field in recent years.
Due to the development of the Internet and the increase in the latest research results from around the world, medical professionals are constantly required to practice medical care (EBM) based on the latest knowledge (scientific evidence). Since various study groups and workshops are held around the world, there are many people who volunteer to run the secretariat. Healthcare professionals are not given the environment, time, or financial support to acquire that knowledge.
In other words, highly motivated medical professionals are forced to face patients seriously in clinical practice, cut down on sleep time to study, and obtain information at their own expense.
Our business aims to promote the circulation of medical information required by medical professionals working in clinical settings and the activation of medical sites. Specifically, we will mainly carry out the following projects.
- Planning and sales of health/medical products
- Seminars: Support for holding seminars and workshops across the country (secretariat acting)
- Products: Investigation, research, recommendation to clinical sites, and sales promotion of medical equipment, treatment methods, and services
- IT solutions: Information dissemination support using Internet technology, efficiency support for various operations and miscellaneous tasks
