Company Profile

Purpose of GLAB Inc.

Japan's medical environment is by no means favorable among developed countries. In order to meet the needs of society, medical professionals endure long working hours and constant tension despite low wages. However, there is a limit to their dedicated efforts. The result is symbolically reflected in the exhaustion of the medical field in recent years.

With the development of the Internet and the increase in the latest research results from around the world, medical professionals are required to always practice medicine based on the latest knowledge (scientific evidence) (EBM). Many people volunteer to run various study groups and training sessions around the world. However, medical professionals are not given enough of an environment, time, or financial support to gain that knowledge.

In other words, highly motivated medical professionals are forced to seriously engage with patients in clinical practice, cut down on sleep to study, and spend their own money to obtain information.

Our business aims to promote the circulation of medical information needed by medical professionals working in clinical settings and to revitalize the medical field. Specifically, we will mainly carry out the following activities.

  • Planning and sales of health/medical related products
  • Seminars: Support for holding seminars and training sessions across the country (acting as secretariat)
  • Products: Research and studies on medical devices, treatment methods and services, recommendations to clinical sites and sales promotion
  • IT solutions: Support for disseminating information using internet technology, and support for streamlining various business and miscellaneous tasks
